Health and wellness are my passion. I have a unique background that brought me to where I am today. Originally a research scientist at a children’s hospital, my love of working with and helping others led me to become a science teacher. I taught in a classroom and virtually for 15 years. When faced with decisions on how to treat chronic Lyme disease, I turned to holistic measures which brought about complete remission. I decided to study those methods further to help others in their journey to wellness.

I genuinely love helping people and watching them transform from the inside out. I continually study alternative medicine in order to share that knowledge, empowering others to take control of their own health. I learned the importance of the mind-body-spirit connection and have trained to become a Holistic Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, Mindfulness Meditation Educator, Reiki Master/Teacher, Sound Healing Therapist (using Tibetan Singing Bowls), and am a 200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher. I am currently furthering my studies to become an Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist.

I remain a certified teacher in 5 states and complete required annual homeschool evaluations for the state of FL.

In my free time, I enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer and you can often find me running, hiking, or biking on one of the many trails. I also enjoy homeschooling my 5 children, reading, and trying new recipes.

I believe any and every child can do well with the correct care and attention they need in order to have an enriching learning experience. I will do this by teaching them using the Oxford Reading Tree story book series with Biff, Chip and Kipper. One of my favourite curriculums to use, I have been teaching it for 2 and a half years. Ardyth first trained with mime artist Adrian Pecknold at The Manitoba Theatre School in Winnipeg and then received a scholarship with The Manitoba Theatre Centre to further her studies with Mime Unlimited School of Physical Theatre (Jacque Le Coq, Principal Ron East) in Toronto (graduate), plus other masters of Mime, Corporeal Mime, Commedia Dell' Arte, Clown, Bouffon, Movement Studies. Slap Stick, Stage Combat, Mask and Comedy. Ardyth holds a B.A in Theatre Studies from the University of Winnipeg and a graduate with Second City Conservatory. Ardyth has toured throughout North America with Mime Unlimited, Theatre Beyond Words and many other professional companies. Ardyth performs, writes and directs under her Physically Speaking Company. Ardyth since 1987 has regularly performed Classic Mime , Charlie Chaplin, “Beth Hickadilly” (a medieval character) at festivals,corporate events and many more venues. When Ardyth is not performing, she is busy teaching as an arts educator in physical theatre, plus workshops all over Canada and Internationally.
